Freeman Brothers is an independent funeral director and was first established in Horsham, West Sussex in 1855. The company has grown to have three further offices across the county – in Billingshurst, Crawley, and Hurstpierpoint – working with a team of compassionate and experienced staff. As the final Bank Holidays of the year approach, here is an update regarding opening hours…
As 2024 draws to a close and we prepare for 2025, our teams will be taking a break for the Bank Holidays. However, our offices will be open on all non-Bank Holidays, and our on-call teams will be available throughout, as always.
Should you require assistance at any time, you can call us on 01403 254590 and our team will be able to help you.
If you would like to see us at our offices, this is always best done by booking an appointment to ensure that we can allocate the time needed to fulfil your request. Colleagues will be available on 24th, 27th, 30th and 31st December in all offices, and on the morning of 28th December in Horsham and Crawley. Our offices will be closed on 25th and 26th December, and 1st January. Full and normal service will then resume on 2nd January.
Our sister company, J. Gumbrill, will be closed from 12.30pm on 24th December until 8.30am on 6th January. If you have a query during this time, we advise that you send an email which will be addressed when the office re-opens.
Managing the administrative issues surrounding a death can seem difficult at any time of year, and for some is even less appealing during the final days in December. However, not everyone sees things in the same way, and many appreciate the opportunity to be able to access services throughout the festive period. Additionally, there are some things it just isn’t possible to predict, so we ensure that we are available for those who need our help unexpectedly.
We hope that our help isn’t needed, and that you have a safe and peaceful end to the year – our blog will return in 2025.
